Located in the heart of Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula, we welcome members
and visitors alike.
Founded in 1919, we have a long tradition as a local hub for celebrations, commemorations and community support.
We are home to the renowned Tom Katz live music venue as well as the fabulous Sorrento Thai Restaurant.
Like Sorrento and Portsea, Jack’s Bar & Lounge and The Terrace are cool in summer and warm in winter and are great spaces for an event or a casual drink with friends in a relaxed environment.
Sorrento Portsea RSL is proudly community-based, volunteer-run and not for profit.
There are no gaming machines - our club is fully supported by the hard work of our people and the generosity of our members and visitors.

FABULOUS FUNCTIONS AT YOUR LOCAL
Sorrento Portsea RSL offers a new outdoor bar, BBQ space and food servery built into The Terrace, our newly expanded indoor/outdoor beergarden.
Together with Jack's bar & Lounge, we've become a preferred venue for all sorts of local celebrations, functions and events in Sorrento.
We've hosted several events during both the Sorrento Writers' Festival and Taste Sorrento, as well as the local branch of the Liberal Party, Probus, and many other organisations.
We provide a full bar service at value prices and can assist you with a range of catering options or you can provide catering yourself.
And venue hire is free-of-charge to members!

FRIDAY members' night madness
FRIDAY NIGHT IS FUN NIGHT AT YOUR LOCAL.
Our Members' nights are THE thing to do on a Friday night in Sorrento, with numbers approaching 100 on recent nights.
Happy Hour is from 4.30 to 6.30pm.
Eileen's raffle and hilarious jokes are the highlight of our week.
It can get a little rowdy, but it's always fun.
Of course, non-members are always welcome.
Another drawcard is our famous Members Draw which has now jackpotted to over $800!! All you have to do to win is be there and be a financial member.
Money for jam. Can you afford not to be there when your number is drawn?
It's a good vibe. Come along and meet some people you'll like.
Stay for dinner at Sorrento Thai next door to make a complete night of it!
